I have a dedicated phone and always leave it there with wireless charging. I am hoping to add auto sleep/black screen feature when car is park for a while. So when I park I don’t need to sleep the phone, the app/phone should automatically go to sleep mode after certain time and awake when the car shift to drive. Which will make the whole process seamless and works like a factory speedometer.
Or if there is a way to sync it with the main touchscreen? Turn off the app(allow the phone to sleep) when the touchscreen go dark.

If it is a iPhone you can do it with Siri Shortcut. You can trigger the phone on and open the app when drive focus mode is activated and sleep the phone when drive focus is off. Probably there is a android equivalent.

Caetano Vidal: I have tried your method and it works but not so great. My phone has no sim and internet connection so it took a longtime to trigger the shortcut. still trying different method. Thank you for your adivice though.
