Put some sort of pointer/mark/tick/etc on the analog-style speedomter (green/red circle) where the speedlimit is. Analog gauges are best used as relative-gauges, and having the speed limit marker would be easier to see your relative position to it at a glance.

And that still keeps the very uncluttered look of the dial you have now.
